The Gitt Racing is a motorcycle racing team based in manchester. The team is made up of rider and friends/sponsors. 

 

Rider, Adam Gittings, a 22 year old motorcyle technician currently working at Road and Racing Motorcycles in hyde, has just completed his first full season racing the yamaha yzf-r6 in 2014. Making his debut to the racing scene back in october 2013 at Three Sisters in Wigan with the Preston and District mcc picking up some promising results for his first time out, decided that it would not stop there.

 

After managing to secure some small sponsorship deals with a handful of local businesses to help with racing costs, we returned to Three Sisters for the 2014 season, as well as trying out at the likes of Aintree and other tracks and championships which funding would allow.

 

Adam competed in the rookies/newcomers class and the pre-injection 600cc class at Three Sisters Race Circuit throughout the year challenging fellow racers such as Joe Lawrence #888, Mike Norbury #26 and Martin Mcgrath #125 for podium positions in the rookies champioship whilst constantly competing for the top spot in the pre injection class, eventually concluding the season as the 2014 Pre Injection Champion.

These guys do a great job at making the day run smoother simply just by helping out which is greatly appreciated.

 

This years plan is to compete on the newly purchased Kawasaki ZX6R in the Thundersport GB  championship at a number of the major circuits around the country. The Thundersport championship is a televised series so make sure you keep up with the teams progress throughout the year on MOTORS TV or visit our media page for links to the Thundersport Iplayer.

 

2015 will see us compete with the support of Selco Builders Warehouse as our main title sponsor, we also have our own loyal sponsors who have continued their support for Adam from the 2014 season. This sponsorship has granted us the fantastic oppurtunity to run at a semi professional level and will provide Adam with anothers seasons competitive racing to gain the all important experience needed to further his racing career.
